Anouk Lamontagne, PhD, Pt, is Associate Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, McGill University. She is also researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in rehabilitation of Greater Montreal, Feil and Oberfeld/JRH research site, where she leads the Virtual Reality and Mobility Laboratory. Her research interests are directed toward the assessment and treatment of locomotor disorders in individuals with an acquired brain injury. She is especially interested in the use of technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality for the assessment and training of complex locomotor tasks, as required in everyday life. She also has ongoing projects targeting the understanding of brain mechanisms involved in the control of complex locomotor tasks. Prof. Lamontagne’s research program is supported by major Canadian funding agencies such as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and the Canada Foundation for Innovation.
